Award-winning quilter, life-long Austerlitz resident and AHS member, Margy Quinn has very generously donated her time to create another stunning Log Cabin quilt for this year’s quilt raffle.
Margy is a generous and very gifted quilt maker. We are very excited that, once again, she has agreed to create a quilt exclusively for the Austerlitz Historical Society.
Using her expertise and attention to detail, Margy has produced many exquisite quilts over the years. Measuring approximately 100” x 100” (king size), each square of this year’s quilt is made from fabric of a past quilt that Margy created for the historical society. You could say this is a historical tapestry of all of the amazing work she has done over the years for AHS.
Books of 6 tickets are $5 each and a single ticket is $1.
Tickets may be purchased by calling the AHS office at 518-392-0062 or at any AHS event. The drawing will be held at the Autumn in Austerlitz Festival on October 12th. You don’t have to be present to win, but be sure to list your phone number so we can call you in case you have that winning ticket!
The proceeds from the quilt raffle help support the year-round programs of the Austerlitz Historical Society.
