Join Polly Freeman Lyman, a local lifelong Francophile who has spent her career working and volunteering for French-American cultural and educational organizations and has been a board member of the Mass. Lafayette Society since the early 1990’s, as she discusses how the Marquis de Lafayette , the last living general of the Revolutionary war, toured the US in 1824-1825 creating an original American Phenomenon and the centuries of French-American friendship that followed as a result.
